Sequoyah Lake is also connected to Thunderbird through a navigable channel that connects and allows boat access between Thunderbird Lake and Sequoyah Lake. The canal also provides boat access to Gitche Gummee Beach for swimming on Sequoyah Lake.

All lakes in the village are private and available to property owners and their guests. If you’re staying in the village, it’s easy to get a guest pass to use the lake.
